Carlos Roca

Carlos Roca is an accomplished bioinformatics leader with extensive experience in data science and analytics across various prestigious institutions. Currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Bioinformatics Europe at CSL Behring, Carlos Roca focuses on building and leading a bioinformatics team. Previous roles include Associate Director at AstraZeneca, where innovative approaches to pathway identification were developed, and Senior Scientist at The Babraham Institute and VIB - KU Leuven, leading bioinformatics efforts in immunology. Carlos Roca's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and an M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
