Caroline Laverty

Caroline Laverty has extensive experience in research and development within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Director of R&D Enabling Technology at CSL since July 2017, Caroline has held multiple leadership roles, including Associate Director and Manager of ELN Project Lead & Lab Automation. Prior to CSL, Caroline managed the Monash Antibody Technologies Facility from April 2009 to October 2020, overseeing robotics and process development. Caroline's earlier experience includes a position as Principal Scientist at the Center for Drug Candidate Optimisation and Pfizer from 2000 to 2009. Caroline holds a PhD in Organic, Analytical, and Physical Chemistry from University College London, earned between 1996 and 2000.
