Chantal Baas is an experienced Senior Manager currently leading the Virus Development Team at CSL Seqirus, where they are accountable for the delivery of seasonal and pandemic influenza viruses for vaccine manufacture. Previously, Chantal worked as a Research Scientist in the Dept. of Virology at Erasmus MC and served as a Medical Scientist at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Influenza. With a strong background in vaccines, serology, virology, and cell culture, Chantal has also held roles at Seqirus and RIVM, focusing on research and development projects related to influenza vaccine manufacturing. Chantal holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Sciences & Engineering from Monash University, earned between 2012 and 2017.
