Cheng Chang

Cheng Chang is an accomplished researcher currently serving as the Associate Director and Research Lead for the mRNA Platform at CSL Seqirus since March 2019. Prior to this role, Cheng held positions as Investigator I and Investigator II at the same company. Cheng's academic career includes a postdoctoral associate position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from April 2015 to March 2019, where significant projects involved engineering therapeutic probiotics and edible bacteria for gut inflammation treatment. Previous experience includes a graduate student role at UMass Medical School from August 2008 to March 2015, leading groundbreaking research on breast cancer stem cells and integrin β4 transcription mechanisms. Cheng holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Cancer Biology from UMass Chan Medical School and a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Fudan University.
