Daniel C. Smith

Daniel C. Smith is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Technology at CSL since July 2023, Daniel leads global enterprise architecture, engineering, cloud foundations, and advanced technology programs including artificial intelligence initiatives. Previously, as Chief Information Officer at Vifor Pharma, Daniel was responsible for overseeing global IT operations, and at Stallergenes Greer, also as CIO, Daniel focused on IT strategy for a biopharmaceutical company specializing in allergy treatment. Additional experience includes senior IT roles at Zoetis, Pfizer, Telcordia Technologies, Reconnex Corporation, GreenBorder Technologies, iomart Group plc, and as Co-founder and CTO of Big Planet Inc. Daniel holds both a BA in English and a BS in Computer Science from Montana State University-Bozeman.
