David Boyd

David Boyd is currently serving as the Associate Director of Data Privacy and Compliance at CSL since June 2018, responsible for overseeing data privacy and compliance across the application portfolio and leading the development of common standards in this realm. Prior to CSL, David held multiple roles at Novartis from September 2007 to May 2018, including Senior IT Compliance Manager for EMEA and Head of Information Governance and Management, where responsibilities included managing security and information during the Vaccines Division’s divestment. David’s earlier experience includes positions at AstraZeneca, GSK, and Washington Group International, focusing on IT quality, laboratory validation, and compliance within various pharmaceutical contexts. David earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Material Engineering from The University of Sheffield between 1991 and 1995.
