Douglas Jones

Douglas Jones, MD, is a general surgeon at Christie Clinic in Champaign, IL, and an associate clinical professor of surgery at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Medical School. With a distinguished military background, having served as a noncommissioned officer in the US Army and the Army National Guard, Douglas specialized in guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and has performed between 10,000 and 11,000 surgical operations. Currently, Douglas leads as the Chairman of General Surgery and serves as a medical consultant to Intuitive Surgical, while also directing medical compliance at CSL Plasma.
