Eugene Maraskovsky

Eugene Maraskovsky is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of immunology. Currently serving as the Executive Director and Research Lead for the Immunology Therapeutic Area at CSL Limited since July 2019, Maraskovsky has been with CSL since February 2002 in various leadership roles, including Senior Director and Head of Cell Biology and Physiology. Additionally, Maraskovsky holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne since February 2003 and previously worked as an Associate Professor and Joint Laboratory Head at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research from March 1998 to March 2003. Maraskovsky's career began at Immunex Corporation in Seattle, where Eugene served as Senior Scientist and Group Leader from October 1991 to March 1998. Maraskovsky holds a PhD in Immunology from The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (1987-1991) and a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Melbourne (1984-1986), along with a solid foundational education from Sacred Heart Primary School and prior institutions.
