Gordon Dunsmore

Gordon Dunsmore is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Downstream Manufacturing at Seqirus since May 2017, Gordon oversees a facility that employs advanced technologies such as column chromatography and ultracentrifugation, managing a team of 52 employees. Previously, Gordon held the position of Sr Manager of Upstream Manufacturing at Seqirus, leading a team of 60 in the production of Flucelvax. Prior roles include Manufacturing Supervisor at Novartis and Human Genome Sciences, where responsibilities encompassed deviation management and coordinating investigations into process deviations. Gordon’s career began at Amgen, where the individual held the title of Senior Associate of Manufacturing. Gordon earned a degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Organic Chemistry from Penn State University.
