Holger Ludwig

Holger Ludwig earned a Diploma in Biology from Ernst-Moritz Arndt-University Greifswald in 1999 and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2002, where they researched the regulation of metabolic pathways in gram-positive bacteria. Holger completed postdoctoral work focusing on engineered viral vectors at the Institute for Molecular Virology and the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut. They transitioned to intellectual property law, becoming a Patent Attorney after obtaining a degree in "Law for Patent Attorneys" in 2008. Holger has worked as an in-house patent counsel at CSL Behring AG since 2016, currently serving as Associate Director of Global Intellectual Property in Bern, where their practice encompasses patent strategy and management.
