Irene Baker is currently a Manager in Cell Culture and Purification Development at CSL, where they have had a progressive career since 2007, encompassing roles from Senior Scientist to Senior Scientist Supervisor. Irene previously worked as an Environmental Scientist at the Environment Protection Authority in Victoria from 1995 to 1999 and served as a Product Quality Technologist at Kodak Australia between 2002 and 2004. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biodegradation of Surfactants and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physical Chemistry from the University of Melbourne. Irene began their professional journey as an Experimental Scientist at CSIRO from 1989 to 1991.
