Jacob Gooch

Jacob Gooch is an experienced Technical Support Engineer II at Seqirus since January 2016, with previous experience as a Manufacturing Associate. Responsibilities include coordination of Upstream and Downstream operations, executing standard operating procedures, and proficient documentation of data. Jacob possesses a basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electronic and mechanical equipment, alongside proficiency in DeltaV, SAP, and LIMS transactions. Jacob has a foundational understanding of cGMP requirements relevant to sterile biologicals and injectables. Prior to Seqirus, Jacob worked as a Lab Technician at NC State Food Science (August 2014 - December 2015), where tasks involved designing experiments for gene-transfer research, conducting PCR analysis, and preparing culture mediums. Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from North Carolina State University, obtained between 2013 and 2015.
