Jim Sherner

Jim Sherner currently serves as the Executive Director and Head of The Americas Policy, Advocacy, and Government Affairs at CSL Seqirus since June 2021. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Senior Director for US Patient Advocacy and Government Affairs at Novartis Gene Therapies, focusing on SMA initiatives. Jim's extensive experience at Pfizer included various roles from Global Corporate Affairs Team Lead to the US Vaccines Lead, where Jim managed government relations, public policy, and advocacy efforts. Jim's earlier career featured positions at Endo Pharmaceuticals and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, contributing to marketing strategies and sales management. Jim holds a Bachelor's degree in History from SUNY Geneseo, earned between 1988 and 1992.
