John Liu

John (Yu-Chih) Liu is a highly experienced professional in the field of bioprocess science, currently serving as a Senior Manager at CSL Behring since June 2018, where responsibilities include leading cross-site research teams and providing scientific expertise for reliable manufacturing operations. Prior roles include Senior Scientist and Scientist in Global Pathogen Safety at CSL Behring, focusing on scale-down manufacturing models and virus validation studies. Previous experience at CSIRO as an OCE Post-doctoral Fellow involved collaborative research on virus-host interactions, and prior to that, a Research Scientist position at Monash University emphasized protocol development for microbial complexes. John holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Monash University, where earlier studies included an Honours degree in Biomedical Science.
