Joon Yong

Joon Yong is a legally qualified tax and strategy professional with extensive experience in corporate and international tax across the Asia Pacific region. Their career includes roles such as Global Head of Tax for an Australian packaging group, and they currently serve as Head of Tax APAC & Global Governance at CSL. Joon has a strong focus on managing tax aspects of commercial strategies, M&A activities, and governance, while also emphasizing process improvement through analytical and automation tools. They are actively involved in promoting diversity and inclusion within their workplace and currently participate as an Observer on the Board of Geelong Grammar School.
