Karol Nass

Karol Nass, PhD, is an experienced data manager and scientist with expertise in biomedical data management, analysis, and visualization. Currently serving as a Senior Data Manager at CSL Behring since February 2023, Karol previously held positions as a Senior Biomedical Data Management, Analytics and Visualization Specialist and Data Curation and Anonymization Specialist at Roche from December 2021 to February 2023. Karol's experience includes working as an Instrumentation Scientist, Data Scientist, and Data Analyst at the Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, where significant contributions were made to the development of automatic data analysis pipelines for protein crystallography and the management of SFX data. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research from March 2013 to July 2016, Karol focused on time-resolved serial crystallography and advanced studies on radiation damage to biomolecules. Karol holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Hamburg and has engaged in various educational opportunities, including summer programs at Stanford University and Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY.
