Lauren Ely

Lauren Ely currently serves as the Director of Antibody Discovery and Protein Engineering at CSL, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this, Lauren held multiple leadership roles at LATERAL PHARMA PTY LTD, including Head of Nonclinical Research and Development and Scientific Affairs Manager from May 2022 to November 2023. Lauren's extensive experience at Pfizer spanned a decade, where titles included Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist from July 2011 to July 2021. Earlier in her career, Lauren worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine and held research and teaching positions at Monash University. Lauren earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Biology from Monash University, a Postgraduate Diploma in eScience from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Pharmacology from the University of Melbourne.
