Marco Hofmann

Marco Hofmann is currently a Senior Manager and Principal Scientist at CSL, where they lead projects in gene therapy and provide strategic and scientific leadership in hematology, immunology, and transplant research. Throughout their career at CSL since 2005, Marco has held various roles, including Senior Staff Scientist and Scientist, where they focused on recombinant protein expression, cell line development, and bioprocess development. Marco has contributed significantly to scientific collaborations and was a founding member of a new research division within the company. They are also pursuing their degree at Philipps-Universität Marburg, expected to be completed in 2026.
