Michael Bartkovsky is a global R&D leader with over 17 years of experience in biopharmaceutical process development and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Director of R&D Process Development and Pilot Plant Operations at CSL, they direct technical initiatives that enhance product yields and compliance while supporting new product technologies. Michael has previously held various roles at CSL Behring, where they contributed to process optimization for plasma-derived biotherapeutics and led teams focused on process scale-up and improvement. They hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
