Michael Bien is an experienced leader in project management and consultancy within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Project Management at CSL Behring since January 2022, Michael has held significant roles at GSK as Director and Project Manager, specializing in early and late-stage drug development in Oncology and Infectious Diseases. Prior experience includes founding Bien Consulting, where strategic consulting services were provided, and leadership positions at Phase Forward, Synthos Corporation, AstraZeneca, and GSK, focusing on R&D management, sales support, and clinical research initiatives. Michael holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Temple University.
