Nancy Dougherty

Nancy Dougherty serves as the Senior Director of Medical Communications & Operations at Seqirus since March 2016, where responsibilities include driving global strategic planning and delivery of Medical Information services and leading a team in managing medical affairs operations. Prior to Seqirus, Nancy held the position of Associate Director for Global Scientific Communications at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics from September 2007 to March 2016, and worked as a Medical Information Specialist. The professional background also includes serving as Project Director for the Pertussis Surveillance Project at Boston University School of Medicine from 2004 to 2007, and as a specialist in vaccine-preventable disease surveillance with the CDC in collaboration with the WHO from 2000 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hartwick College, and a certificate in the American Course on Drug and Regulatory Services from the University of California, Washington Center.
