Simone Zanetti is an experienced biotech leader currently serving as the Global Head of QC Analytical Technologies for Gene Therapy. With a strong background in analytical development, microbiology, and method innovation, Simone has effectively managed global QC programs and led cross-functional teams. Previously, Simone worked at CSL Behring as a Scientist and later as a Senior Scientific Expert in QC Biological Analytical Development, and played a key role in the commercial launch of HEMGENIX. In addition to their industry experience, Simone has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Université de Fribourg since 2018. Simone holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD from the same institution.
