Stuart Barnes

Stuart Barnes has extensive experience in engineering and process management within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as the Value Stream Lead for Visual Inspection and Packaging at CSL since April 2015, Stuart has held various significant roles, including Head of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager - Global Project Engineering. Prior to CSL, Stuart worked at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics from September 2011 to April 2015, where responsibilities included overseeing batch manufacturing processes and leading downstream operations to achieve yield increases and cost savings. In addition to a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds, Stuart has demonstrated expertise in managing complex engineering projects, implementing process improvements, and leading teams in adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
