Peter Belan

Peter Belan is a seasoned professional in information security and risk management with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Advisor at CSOB since August 2017, Peter has a strong background in developing and managing comprehensive information security programs. Previous roles include Head of Operational Risk Management at ING Comercial Banking and IT Security Officer at ZUNO BANK AG, where responsibilities encompassed the overall direction of security functions, policy development, and adherence to international standards such as ISO 27001. Peter's earlier career includes expertise as an Information Risk Manager and Network Engineer at CSOB, focusing on risk management and network design. Peter holds a degree in Electronics and Multimedia Communications from Technical University of Košice.
