John Miller has over 25 years of experience in IT and systems engineering, currently serving as AVP of Technical and Administrative Services at Central States Health & Life Co. of Omaha since June 2019, after holding various roles such as System Engineer and Manager of Technical and Administrative Teams. Prior to this, John worked at Werner Enterprises from May 2014 to June 2019 as a System Engineer and Systems Administrator III, and at Oriental Trading Company from June 1995 to May 2014 in several positions, including Windows Systems Supervisor and Lead Systems Engineer. John's technical expertise includes creating a robust ESX environment, implementing PCI controls, updating enterprise server applications, and optimizing storage solutions. Earlier career experiences also include database administration and support roles at Omaha World-Herald and various positions focused on network and server management. John holds an Honors Associate Degree in Computer Networking from Metropolitan Community College.
