John Ashworth's work experience spans several industries and roles. John started their career in 2002 as a Customer Service Team Leader at Publix Super Markets. In 2004, they transitioned to Wachovia Corp, where they worked as a Teller/Teller Manager until 2006. From 2006 to 2013, John served in multiple roles at Palm Beach County School District, including as a Secondary Technology Support Technician and Instructional Technology Support Assistant. John then joined Broward County Public Schools in 2013, where they worked as a Computer Technical Specialist and later as a Systems Facilitator. In 2015, John moved to JDL Technologies, assuming the position of Systems Engineer until 2017. Later that year, they joined CSPi Technology Solutions as a Systems Engineer. Within the same company, they eventually held the roles of Infrastructure Team Lead for Broward College and NOC Manager for Broward College, both of which they still hold. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated their abilities in technology support, systems engineering, and project management.

John Ashworth obtained their Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Broward College in 2019. John also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Information Technology from Broward College during the same period. In terms of certifications, John obtained the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification from CompTIA in April 2019. John also obtained the VMware vSphere Foundations certification from VMware in January 2019. Prior to these certifications, John acquired the 3CX Advanced Certified Engineer and 3CX Certified Engineer certifications from 3CX in October 2016. John'searliest certification is the A+ Certification from CompTIA, which they obtained in June 2014.
