Nancy Murphy

Nancy Murphy is the CEO and Founder of CSR Communications, a boutique organizational change consultancy that helps leaders understand and leverage the human and emotional reactions to change to achieve results with less frustration and resistance. They created the Intrapreneurs Influence Lab in 2018 and currently lead a team of consultants delivering strategic planning, leadership development, and communications for mission-driven organizations. Their career includes senior leadership roles at APCO Worldwide (1997–2007), Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (Executive Vice President & Senior Advisor for Social Innovation, 2011–2012; Vice President, Special Initiatives, 2011–2012), and Metropolitan Group (2012–2014), along with board service at Pact (2013–2020), Atlas Corps (from January 2020), and the Annapolis Film Festival (from 2023). They earned an MS in Health Communication from Boston University (2008–2010), an MA in Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota (1992–1994), and a BA in American Studies from the University of Dayton (1986–1990). They were named one of Enterprising Women Magazine's 2024 Enterprising Women of the Year.
