Roger Meli

Roger Meli is currently the Chief Risk Officer at CSS Versicherung and a member of the Strategic Commission of the Center da sandà Val Müstair, where they serve as President since 2025. They previously held the position of Director at Deloitte Switzerland, where they revitalized the Insurance Risk & Capital Management practice, and served as a Senior Manager at the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), leading a team in quantitative risk management. Roger’s prior experience includes roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd and ERNST&YOUNG, focusing on actuarial responsibilities, reserve reviews, and solvency modeling. Roger is also pursuing a Ph.D. in bioinorganic chemistry at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich.
