Alyssa Leclaire

Coastal Resilience Ecologist at CSS

Alyssa LeClaire is a Coastal Resilience Ecologist at CSS, where since June 2022, research focuses on coastal wetland ecology, particularly addressing the impacts of climate change on estuarine marshes, seagrasses, and oyster reefs at the NOAA National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS). Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory from July 2020 to May 2022 and working as a Kayak Guide at Glass Bottom Kayak Tours from May 2019 to August 2019. Alyssa LeClaire holds a Master’s degree in Coastal Science from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University.
