Blake Waring

Blake Waring is a Geospatial Analyst at CSS, where responsibilities include supporting the NOAA Office for Coastal Management with remote sensing and geospatial dataset management, as well as maintaining the Sea Level Rise viewer. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at NASA South Carolina Space Grant Consortium, focusing on Martian processes through remote sensing data analysis and presenting research at international forums. Additionally, Blake worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the College of Charleston, engaging in flood inundation modeling and GIS development, and held the role of Director of Operations at Home Energy Remodeling, overseeing energy consulting and home renovations. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from the College of Charleston and a Bachelor of the Arts in Philosophy, English, and Geology from the same institution, along with a course in Culture and Civilization from La Sorbonne in Paris.
