Grant Burdine

Grant Burdine has extensive experience in marine biology and environmental science, currently serving as an Aquarist with CSS since November 2021, contributing to coral restoration efforts related to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Prior roles include Marine Biological Technician at Pinnacle Ecological, Inc., where Grant conducted scientific diving operations and habitat assessments, and positions with Florida International University as an NSF-CREST Undergraduate Research Fellow, focusing on epigenetic modifications in cnidarians. Additional experience encompasses commercial diving for underwater inspections and repairs, environmental stewardship with AmeriCorps, and service as a 2nd-Class Diver in the US Navy. Grant holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Florida International University.
