Phyllis Chavies

Phyllis Chavies possesses extensive experience in security and customer service. Currently serving as a Security Officer for Amityville UFSD since December 2015 and as a Public Safety Officer for the Town of Babylon since July 2009, Phyllis also coordinates event security with CSS Security since May 2005. As the owner of Phyllis's Travel since May 2004, Phyllis specializes in creating personalized itineraries for clients' vacations. Previous roles include Customer Service Representative positions at Cablevision and 1800flowers.com, as well as serving as a Correction Officer for the NYC Department of Correction from April 1984 to July 2005. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Science in Corrections Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from John Jay College (CUNY), along with a diploma in Medical Insurance Specialist/Medical Biller from the Career Institute of Health and Technology.
