Doris Sun is a communications professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at CSSEA since April 2016, Doris previously held positions at the same organization as Manager of Communications and Communications Coordinator. Prior to that, Doris worked as a Senior Communications Specialist and Editor at the Association of BC Forest Professionals from January 2013 to March 2016. Experience also includes roles at CBC/Radio-Canada as a Writer for cbc.ca and Reporter for CBC Television, as well as a summer intern Reporter at The Vancouver Sun. Doris holds a Master of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, both from The University of British Columbia.

CSSEA

The Community Social Services Employers’ Association of BC (CSSEA) provides human resources, labour relations, collective bargaining, research and knowledge management services to over 200 member agencies and 82 associate agencies throughout British Columbia. Since 1994, CSSEA has been the accredited bargaining agent for the community social services sector, negotiating three sectoral collective agreements governing more than 18,000 unionized social services employees.
