Pierre Chao

Pierre Chao is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the aerospace, defense, and government services sectors. Currently serving as the Lead Director on the Board of Directors for CSSI and Chairman of the Board for Athenix Solutions Group, Pierre has established a significant impact on organizations that address complex, safety-critical systems and intelligence-related challenges. As the Managing Partner and Founder of Proteus Capital Solutions and co-founder of Enlightenment Capital, Pierre focuses on strategic investments and providing capital to middle-market companies. Additionally, Pierre has held influential roles at MIT, KeyLogic Holdings, Renaissance Strategic Advisors, the Defense Innovation Board, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies, demonstrating a strong commitment to education and advisory functions in the national security landscape. Pierre holds dual SB degrees in Political Science and Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
