Alexandra Citrin is a seasoned professional in social policy and child welfare, currently serving as a Senior Associate and Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for the Study of Social Policy since June 2012. With expertise in analyzing data and consulting on DC's Child and Family Service Agency policy, Alexandra contributes to the Monitor’s team for the DC LaShawn A. v Gray lawsuit. Previous experience includes roles as a Child Welfare Intern at Our House and a graduate student instructor at the University of Michigan Ford School of Public Policy. Notably, Alexandra worked as a Family Advocate at the Center for Family Representation, actively supporting clients navigating the child welfare system, and as a Research and Clinical Intern at Children's National Medical Center, where therapeutic observations contributed to a significant manual for coding behaviors.
