Beatriz Otero

Beatriz (BB) Otero is a Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of Social Policy and has served as President of the Otero Strategy Group since 2015. Previously, they held the position of President and CEO at CentroNía from 1986 to 2011, and worked as Deputy Mayor for Health and Human Services for the District of Columbia from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they also serve as a Special Assistant to the County Executive for Montgomery County Government until 2025. Beatriz is pursuing a Bachelor in Education at the University of Maryland.
