David W. Willis

David W. Willis, MD, currently serves as a Professor of Pediatrics at the Georgetown University Center on Child and Human Development since September 2024. As the Founder of Nurture Connection since February 2023 and a Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of Social Policy since April 2019, David focuses on the integration of child health with community support systems for young children and their families. Previous roles include Executive Director of The Perigee Fund from May 2018 to April 2019, and Director of the Division of Early Childhood and Home Visiting at the US Department of Health & Human Services from July 2012 to May 2018. David also served as Medical Director at the Artz Center for Developmental Health from July 2005 to July 2012. David's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from Thomas Jefferson University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Delaware.
