Ashley Bergeron

Ashley Bergeron, MPH, currently serves as the Director of Non-Infectious Disease Programs at the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, where oversight includes injury, substance use and mental health, chronic disease, maternal and child health, and environmental and occupational health. Previously, Ashley held multiple roles at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, including Family Health Section Manager, where responsibilities encompassed maternal and child health initiatives, and Preparedness Unit Supervisor, focusing on emergency medical services and public health surveillance. Additional experience includes positions as an Epidemiologist focused on syndromic surveillance and opioid overdose, Data Analyst, and Research Coordinator in various health-related entities, complemented by a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
