Emily Armstrong

Program Analyst

Emily Armstrong, MPH, CHES, currently serves as a Program Analyst at the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, a role started in March 2023. Prior experience includes an internship at the same organization and positions as a Research Assistant at UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the University of Georgia College of Public Health. In the Lamm Lab, Emily contributed to the Healthier Together project focused on physical activity and nutrition in rural Georgia, conducting field data collection and quantitative analysis. Additionally, Emily supported the CPC Map Project by performing website analyses and creating infographics for social media engagement. Prior work experience includes serving as a Contact Tracer for Clarke County School District. Emily holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion.
