Rachel Jantz has extensive experience in public health, epidemiology, and program management with a focus on substance use and overdose prevention. Starting as a Program Intern at The Grand Rapids Red Project, Rachel has since held roles including Research Assistant at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellow at the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Currently, Rachel serves as a Senior Program Analyst at the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, leading a CDC-funded overdose data portfolio and cultivating partnerships with key stakeholders. Previous roles also include Public Health Epidemiologist for Kent County, where Rachel managed community health assessments and opioid initiatives. Rachel holds a degree from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
