Don Soetaert's work experience began in 1985 when they started as an Accountant at Versatile Farm Equipment, a US subsidiary of an international farm equipment manufacturing company. Don then moved to Penton Media in the same year and held various finance positions until 2007, including Vice President of Finance. In 2008, they became Vice President/CFO at both CSTK, Inc. and Velociti Inc., where their role involved overseeing financial operations.
Don Soetaert obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they attended from 1980 to 1984. Don later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance at Rockhurst University from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Don Soetaert also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant, which was obtained from the Missouri State Board of Accountancy in February 1990.
