Ira Downs

Ira Downs is a skilled mechanic with extensive experience in the service, maintenance, and repair of oil field equipment. Currently employed at CSTK since August 2020, Ira previously worked as a mechanic at KLX Energy Services from December 2016 to August 2020, and at Weatherford from May 1993 to November 2015, where a dual role as Service Manager and Mechanic involved overseeing work with mechanics and welders on pumps, tanks, and swivels. Earlier in Ira's career, from April 1984 to April 1993, a position as Branch Manager at Smith Detroit Diesel Allison focused on service, parts, and sales for diesel engines and Allison transmissions, encompassing both shop and field operations. Ira holds an A & P License in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology, obtained through education at Denver Auto Tech and Colorado Aero Tech.
