Stefano Stanghellini

Stefano Stanghellini is a Senior Project and Engineering Manager currently serving as the CTAO Telescope Coordinator at the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory. With extensive experience in managing multinational projects, Stefano has previously held positions such as Project Manager for various significant projects at the European Southern Observatory, including the ALMA antennas and the E-ELT Dome. They have a strong background in opto-mechanics and structural engineering, having also worked in aerospace and nuclear engineering roles earlier in their career. Stefano holds an Engineer’s Degree and is currently pursuing further studies in Nuclear Engineering at Bologna University.
