In 2014, they worked as a Brevbärare (Mail carrier) at Posten Meddelande AB and as a Barnskötare (Childcare assistant) at different preschools within Falu kommun. These roles required him to be responsible, proactive, and skilled in conflict resolution.
In 2016, Johan worked as Samordnare för Dynamicus marknadsföringsutskott (Coordinator for Dynamicus Marketing Committee) at Dynamicus. Johan then returned to AlphaCE Coaching & Education, where they had previously worked as an Utbildare (Educator) in 2016. As an Utbildare, they were responsible for planning and conducting lessons in Swedish and civic information for individuals from different countries. This role demanded pedagogical skills, effective communication, and a structured approach to work.
Johan also has experience as an HR-Support at SSAB, where they participated in recruitment processes and provided support to HR partners. Johan worked there for a few months in 2019. Additionally, they started their own company, Johan Strömer, in 2018, to pursue part-time work alongside their studies. As a Content Creator at CTEK since 2019, they have been involved in various assignments related to digital communication, translation work, marketing, information search, and photo and film editing.

Johan Strömer completed their secondary education at Lugnetgymnasiet in Falun from 2009 to 2012. During this time, they studied in the field of Samhällsvetenskap with a particular focus on economics. Afterward, Johan pursued higher education at Uppsala University from 2015 to 2018. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, specifically a Filosofie Kandidatexamen (fil.kand.), with a major in Personal och Arbetsliv.
