Trevor Jones

Trevor Jones is the AVP of Government Affairs at CTIA, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Government Affairs at USTelecom | The Broadband Association from March 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they were a Legislative Assistant for Senator Ron Wyden from October 2011 to March 2019, where they worked on policy areas including technology, telecommunications and internet, aviation, surface transportation, and K-12 education.

During their time as a Legislative Assistant, Trevor secured the inclusion of amendments into congressional passed legislation, won an $8.1M grant from the Department of Transportation, and championed net neutrality protections on the internet. Trevor has also been instrumental in securing funding for rural broadband and cell service deployment, including a new cell phone tower for Mitchell, Oregon.

Trevor Jones graduated from Grant High School and then went on to study Political Science and Government at Willamette University.
