Fernando Martins

Fernando Martins possesses extensive experience in security and occupational safety, currently serving as Security Manager at CTT - Correios de Portugal since January 1996, overseeing physical security, loss prevention, and fire safety. This role includes management of security system maintenance contracts, financial oversight, and collaboration with security forces. Fernando also has expertise as an Occupational Safety and Ergonomics expert, implementing safety plans and conducting training sessions. As Vice Chair of the CRS - Occupational Health Workgroup at PostEurop from 2005 to 2010, a focus was placed on sharing best practices among European Postal Operators. Academic contributions include a position as Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, teaching workplace health and safety, along with prior consultancy roles in safety and ergonomics.
