Karen Pho

Karen Pho has a diverse work experience across various industries. Karen began their career at Subway as a Sandwich Artist in 2013. Karen then worked as a Business Team Co-Manager at CrowdCodr in 2016. From 2015 to 2017, Karen held the roles of Vice President and Webmaster at ASME, where they managed conference arrangements, budgets, and collaborated with board members on projects and workshops. As Webmaster, Karen designed and maintained the organization's website. In 2017, they joined ECS Imaging, Inc. as a Software Support Technician and later became a Solutions Analyst in 2020. Currently, Karen is working at Origence (formerly CU Direct) where they started as an Application Support Analyst in 2020 and progressed to Sr. Application Product Support Analyst in 2021. Karen is currently serving as a Jr. Scrum Master.

Karen Pho completed their education at the University of California, Riverside, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science with Business Applications from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they received a High School Diploma from Granada Hills Charter High School, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Karen Pho has obtained several certifications, including "Instructional Design: Adult Learners," "How to Design and Deliver Training Programs," "Instructional Design Essentials: Models of ID," and "SQL Essential Training" from LinkedIn Learning 2 in 2022. In 2020, they also earned the certification of "Fundamentals of GIS" from Coursera.
