Kris Young

Kris Young has a diverse background in instructional design and training. They have worked for various companies, including CU Direct, TrainingFolks, Briljent, TEKsystems, TD, TD Bank, Citizens Bank, Zions Bancorporation, Stonegate Mortgage Corporation, and Pappas and Pappas Consulting.

In their most recent role as a Senior Product Training Specialist at CU Direct, Kris is currently responsible for delivering product training. Prior to that, they worked as an Instructional Designer at TrainingFolks, where they designed instructional materials.

At Briljent, Kris collaborated to design a training strategy for the Indiana Office of Technology's PeopleSoft Financials software upgrade and new hire eLearning initiatives across various state agencies. They also authored storyboards for eLearning courses on processes, procedures, and step-by-step PeopleSoft Financials software instruction.

During their time at TEKsystems, Kris worked as an Instructional Designer on a contract assignment at OneAmerica. Their responsibilities involved designing instructional materials for training.

Before that, Kris worked as an Instructional Designer on a contract assignment at TD and TD Bank. They also served as a Contract Training Professional at Citizens Bank, Zions Bancorporation, and Stonegate Mortgage Corporation.

Their career started at Pappas and Pappas Consulting, where they worked as a Training Design and Facilitation specialist. In this role, Kris designed and delivered classroom training to retail and commercial lending bank staff. They also created job aids, quick reference guides, and webinar content for software and conversion training.

Kris Young obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology/Sociology from Huntington University, where they attended from 1976 to 1980. Prior to that, Kris attended Huntington North High School from 1973 to 1976.
