Eric S. Broome is an Advisor at CU Engage and a Senior Vice President - Enterprise Risk Management & General Counsel at Georgia's Own Credit Union. Eric has been with Georgia's Own Credit Union since January 2006 and has been in their current position since December 2017. Eric is responsible for senior management oversight of the organization's audit, business continuity and disaster recovery, compliance, fraud management, information and physical security, legal, risk management, and vendor management functions. Eric is also the Chief counsel to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and President & CEO on corporate governance, legal, policy, and risk matters. Eric is the primary liaison for the Credit Union with both state and federal regulatory agencies.

Eric also has a Financial Analysis, Management, and Leadership degree from The University of Georgia. Eric's Doctor of Law degree is from Florida Coastal School of Law and their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science is from The University of Southern Mississippi. Eric S. Broome also has a British Studies degree from King's College London. Eric is certified by the Credit Union National Association as a CUNA Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) and by the NAFCU (National Association of Federal Credit Unions) as an NAFCU Certified Risk Manager (NCRM).
