Joan Eddy

Joan Eddy has over 20 years of experience in the finance and education industries. Joan currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at CURevl, a position they have held since October 2019. Prior to this role, Joan was the Director of Customer Experience at cuLearn with Thrivent from February 2017 to October 2019.

From May 2011 to February 2017, Joan worked at First Marblehead as the Director of Client Services. In this role, they managed a team focused on client satisfaction, program implementation, and change management. Joan successfully implemented over 500 unique education finance programs and developed an issue tracker support system for external clients and internal users.

Joan's earlier experience includes working at Wells Fargo EFS as the VP of Loan Originations from October 1997 to September 2011. During their time there, they provided leadership to a team of 43 professionals and played a vital role in providing students access to funding for higher education.

Joan also worked at Wachovia Education Finance where they held various roles such as AVP of Strategic Initiatives, AVP of Loan Production Manager, and Supervisor of Loan Originations. In these roles, they oversaw the implementation of new school clients, reduced network errors, established process frameworks, and resolved borrower issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Joan Eddy attended Leeward Community College from 1987 to 1988, studying accounting. However, no degree was obtained during this period.
